The formidable duo

With combined decades of experience, Mike Prior and Dean Stokes have helped Able Solar Ltd become what is today - a reputable leader in the off-grid and solar water pumping industry with a growing network of installers and service agents in New Zealand.

Mike Prior, whose family bought Able Solar in September 2016, is the managing director. He put to good use his expertise in engineering and electronics, taking on the role of technical support and sales before embracing the huge responsibility of being a managing director who handles an outstanding team of installers and electricians across the country. He is very much a family man, spending time with them as often as he can, and he loves fishing during his spare time. He also loves living the good life!

Dean Stokes, for his part, has been working in the solar industry for over a decade now. He has eventually learned the ropes after a great stint in the horticulture industry. He heads the sales and dispatch of Able Solar Ltd. and has contributed greatly to the stability and growth of the company over the years.

Mike and Dean truly make an amazing tandem in bringing Able Solar Ltd to even greater heights in the future.
