Mike’s journey with the Able Solar team began years before he took on any role within the organisation. He found the team at Able Solar when seeking advice to sort out his personal solar system at home. 15 years later, he is now one of the core members of the team, being the Managing Director after taking over the business in September 2016.

Coming from an engineering and electronics background Mike slipped straight into the role of technical support and sales and has grown into the manager's role leading an outstanding team of installers and electricians across the country.

With his expertise, Mike has helped clients all over NZ get a solar power system that is dependable and truly fits their needs. With a vast range of solar power products they are able to provide a unique solution to varying demands on electricity, power outages, and increasing global carbon footprint.

Mike’s team of installers and electricians at Able Solar provides a cleaner, more sustainable, and more dependable electrical solution for both residential and commercial clients. They make it easier for climate-conscious individuals to invest in a power system that will provide for their electrical needs while helping them cut down on cost at the same time.

Mike currently works with Able Solar’s Sales Manager, Dean Stokes, in servicing clients all over the country. Together, they form the core tandem that ensures the quality of work and stability within the organisation. Outside of the office, Mike is a true family man. He loves spending time with his family and also likes fishing and living the good life on his lifestyle block.
